• President of Parkview Neighborhood Association
            -Created post-Katrina Block Captain System for neighborhood to monitor
            re-population, provide notices of meetings and report infrastructure, street lighting,
            blighted housing and other issues
            -Successfully fought to shut down nuisance bar at 3841 Orleans Avenue, former
            Tyler’s Bar and Lyric Café, and worked to secure zoning change to two-family
            residential
• Attorney for Port of New Orleans in their successful lawsuit against their insurance
  companies after Hurricane Katrina
• Led drive to refurbish Fire Engine #35 and repaint the firehouse after Katrina
